Ranch Recap!

Welcome back to the nerding out version of Leslie! I had a wonderful year off with our amazing son, but I am happy to be back at work. Here is a photo of our adorable little boy, Bentley, because I am a proud working mom now!

The ranch has been busy since my return in April. We have lots of new employees!

Calving season was very eventful with 120 heifers, 600 cows of our own, and 250 custom cows! We were definitely busy and it could not have been possible without our incredible crew! My girls have put in crazy hours and so much work since their arrival in May. We appreciate them all so much!

All the pairs are out to summer pastures and bulls are out doing their job!

The feedlot is empty, and the boys are working hard to get it cleaned up and ready for the fall run.

In other exciting news, the basement footings are being poured today! One step closer to the Poletz family living the ranch life full time.
